Dr. Nicholas Santaro is thrilled to be joining the Aesthetic Dentistry of Wickford family and is excited to bring new knowledge and energy to the practice, as he has been in the dental industry since 2014. He is a graduate of St. Lawrence University with a major in biology and chemistry minor, and from the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. His passion lies in providing sophisticated patient care using cutting-edge dental technologies and techniques; such as comprehensive restorations and implant placement.
Dr. Santaro is a graduate from the highly selective Providence Veterans Affairs Advance Education in General Dentistry program. His patient care was focused on medically complex patients, which included extensive restorative full-mouth reconstruction including multi-unit crowns, bridges, and esthetic veneers and crowns. He has tailored his training in Implant placement, extractions, and bone grafts.
His combined love for computers and passion for dentistry are apparent when caring for his patients. Dr. Santaro studied at Stony Brook as a digital lab technician where he became proficient in digital design and mill of various restorative modalities, such as crowns, bridges and veneers. He was also a participant in the Ethics Selective, involving case reviews to provide the best, individualized and custom care to his patients.
Dr. Santaro prides himself in his community outreach. He has organized successful outreach trips to children’s homes and pioneered a 5K Race which fundraised towards the Give Kids a Smile foundation, funding cleft lip and palate surgeries for underprivileged children.
He looks to continue his growth and offerings to his patients. He is currently a participant in the Clinical Mastery Series, a world renown continuum focusing on full mouth reconstruction. He also studies through the Academy of General Dentistry, as he strives to complete a fellowship status. Additionally, he is a member of the Rhode Island Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
He currently lives in Providence with his fiancee. Aside from dentistry, he is an avid golfer and skier, and he is excited to meet you!
